Small Groups

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship…”

Many of the things that Christ calls us to as a church community simply can’t happen in our limited interaction on Sundays. We want to be involved in each other’s lives in meaningful ways and encouraging significant spiritual growth. To that end, we have several groups that meet at various times during the week to provide more focused study and smaller settings to develop deeper relationships.

• Community Groups are loosely geographical groups that meet weekly to work through provided material and pray together. There are currently groups meeting in North Arlington, Central Arlington, Old Town Alexandria, and South Alexandria.
• Ascension Mom’s meets weekly on Thursday mornings to provide a playgroup for the kids and a time of prayer and Bible study for the moms.
