The Ethics and Public Policy Center is presenting a lecture by Bishop Michael James Nazir-Ali entitled, “Aggressive Secularism, Multiculturalism, and the Islamist Threat.” It will be held on Wednesday, October, 14, 2009, 6:00 p.m. at the Capitol Visitor Center. Bishop Nazir-Ali is Pakistani-born and serves as the Anglican Bishop of Rochester, England. He is a prominent spokesman for a meaningful engagement between Christianity and Islam, particularly as it pertains to the rise of Islamism and of Sharia law in the West.
