Worship Gatherings

We gather weekly as a community on Sunday evenings to celebrate the good news that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and was raised on the third day.  Jesus’ resurrection means for us the repair of a broken past, hope for the present, and the promise of a new world in the future.

As an evangelical Anglican parish, we worship in a way, more or less, following a form Christians have used to approach God since the days of the early church.  In following this pattern, we find God engaging us in a dialogue eliciting our active participation in prayer, Scripture and song, and through partaking in the Lord’s Supper, a festive and holy meal eaten together in the presence of God.  Though the service has an ancient form, we fill in the details with music and language of the present.  It is easy to follow along using both the printed bulletin and the projection screen at the front of the sanctuary.

We welcome everyone, kids included, to participate in our services.  Children 10 and under are dismissed during the Scripture lessons to their chapel downstairs.  They return later in the service to participate in the Lord’s Supper.
